Welcome to the Skin Forum, the international network of skin science. Our organisation seeks to unite scientists from both industry and academia across a range of skin-related disciplines. These include skin permeation, transdermal drug delivery, skin barrier investigation, pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulations, dermatology, skin testing and also the biophysical methods used to reveal information relating to the skin at an atomic or molecular level. The Forum seeks to encompass not only academic, but also business and regulatory aspects of these areas.
The highlight of our year is the Skin Forum conference which brings together international experts to discuss current and future research as well as regulatory developments. Here research students have the opportunity to meet opinion leaders in a relaxed and informal environment. Should you wish to explore our website, you can find a selection of posters and presentations from our past events.
We have also included links to a variety of other skin-related events taking place internationally, should you be interested.
Our LinkedIn presence is another platform set up to enable interactions between members. Here you can ask questions of experts, communicate new developments or share interesting publications. Feel free to post information relating to vacancies or recommendations for courses you may have attended. We also hope to hear suggestions from members regarding potential lecture topics that they would find beneficial.
We invite you to join the Skin Forum, membership is free. Just log in to your LinkedIn account, search for Skin Forum and ask to join the group.
